Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to lead and manage fire fighting system projects from initiation to completion. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge in fire protection systems, excellent leadership and communication skills, and the ability to ensure timely delivery of high-quality projects within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the planning, design, execution, and completion of fire fighting system projects (e.g., sprinklers, hydrants, fire pumps, suppression systems).
- Coordinate with design teams, consultants, contractors, and clients to ensure project specifications and fire safety codes are met.
- Prepare and manage project schedules, budgets, procurement plans, and resource allocations.
- Ensure all activities comply with local fire codes, NFPA standards, and safety regulations.
- Review and approve technical submittals, drawings, and materials.
- Conduct regular site inspections and meetings to monitor progress and resolve issues.
- Lead project team members and subcontractors, ensuring performance and adherence to quality standards.
- Maintain documentation, reports, and updates for stakeholders and management.
- Provide technical support during commissioning, testing, and final handover stages.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Fire Protection Engineering, or related field.
- PMP certification (preferred).
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in project management within the fire protection or MEP industry.
- Strong knowledge of firefighting systems (sprinklers, FM200, deluge, hydrants, etc.).
- Familiarity with NFPA, FM Global, and local fire codes.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficient in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and AutoCAD.
