We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Automotive Production Engineer (Electrical) to join our dynamic team in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the electrical systems within automotive production processes. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure electrical components are effectively integrated, manufactured, and meet the highest quality standards. You will play a key role in enhancing production efficiency, troubleshooting, and optimizing electrical systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Production Engineering: Design, develop, and maintain electrical systems for automotive production lines.
Oversee the integration of electrical components into vehicles, ensuring systems meet functional, safety, and regulatory standards. Collaborate with the R&D team to implement new technologies into the production process. - Process Improvement:Continuously assess production processes to identify areas for improvement in electrical systems.Develop and implement solutions for optimizing electrical production lines to increase efficiency and reduce downtime.
- Troubleshooting & Technical Support:Provide technical support for electrical issues encountered during production and work to resolve them efficiently. Diagnose faults in electrical circuits, components, or systems in the production environment.
- Quality Control:Ensure that electrical systems meet both internal and external quality standards.
Conduct inspections, tests, and audits to verify compliance with automotive electrical specifications. - Documentation & Reporting:Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for electrical systems and components used in production. Generate detailed reports on electrical issues, process improvements, and quality checks.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other engineering disciplines (mechanical, manufacturing, and quality) to ensure smooth integration of electrical systems within the overall production process.
Liaise with suppliers and vendors to source electrical components and materials.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or related field.
- Experience:Minimum 3-5 years of experience in electrical engineering within automotive production or a related industry.
Strong understanding of automotive electrical systems and manufacturing processes.
Hands-on experience with electrical circuit design, troubleshooting, and testing.
- Skills:Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, CATIA, or SolidWorks) for electrical design and layout.
Familiarity with automotive industry standards and regulations (e.g., ISO, etc.).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
