Job Description

Develop and maintain detailed production schedules, considering resource availability, and demand forecasts to optimize manufacturing efficiency.
Analyze production data, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to improve throughput and reduce lead times, ensuring timely delivery of products.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, procurement, and quality control, to align plans and resolve operational issues.
Manage and track material requirements, ensuring timely procurement and availability of raw materials to support production schedules.
Monitor inventory levels, optimize stock management, and minimize carrying costs while meeting production demands to control cost.
Conduct capacity planning and simulations to anticipate production constraints and propose adjustments to the schedule.
Prepare and present regular reports on production performance, highlighting key metrics, variances, and recommendations for improvements.
Lead the implementation of planning software and systems, ensuring accurate data input and effective utilization to streamline processes.
Continuously seek opportunities to improve planning processes, incorporating best practices and industry standards to enhance performance.
Participate in new product introduction (NPI) planning, coordinating activities to ensure a smooth transition from design to manufacturing.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Brings 5+ years of experience in manufacturing planning, specifically within a high-volume production environment.
Demonstrates a strong understanding of manufacturing processes, including lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
Exhibits proficiency in using ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) and advanced planning and scheduling tools.
Showcases exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively collaborating with diverse teams.
Demonstrates strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Exhibits a proactive and results-oriented approach, with a proven track record of successfully managing production schedules.
Is fluent in English, both written and spoken, with any additional language skills being a plus.
