    Job Description

    We are looking for a skilled MIG/TIG Aluminium Welder to join our fabrication team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in welding aluminium and other non-ferrous metals, ensuring high-quality and precise fabrication work in accordance with engineering drawings and specifications.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Perform MIG and TIG welding on aluminium components and assemblies.
    • Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols.
    • Set up welding machines and select appropriate filler materials for aluminium welding.
    • Inspect and prepare materials before and after welding to ensure accuracy and quality.
    • Conduct finishing tasks such as grinding, polishing, and cleaning of welds.
    • Follow safety procedures and maintain cleanliness in the work area.
    • Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment.
    • Collaborate with fabrication and quality control teams to ensure project specifications are met.

    Qualifications and Skills:

    • High school diploma or technical certificate in welding or fabrication.
    • Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in MIG/TIG welding, specifically on aluminium.
    • Proven ability to produce high-quality welds with minimal supervision.
    • Familiarity with aluminium alloys, heat control, and distortion management.
    • Ability to use hand tools and measuring instruments accurately.
    • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.

    Preferred Experience:

    • Experience in industrial fabrication, automotive, or architectural aluminium works.
    • Knowledge of AWS or ASME welding standards.
    • Valid welding certification is an added advantage.
