    Job Description

    As a Junior Automotive Quality Control (QC) Engineer, you will be responsible for assisting in ensuring that automotive products meet the required quality standards. You will work closely with the engineering team to inspect, test, and evaluate the quality of materials and components used in manufacturing, as well as the final vehicle product. Your role will help ensure that all vehicles and components are safe, reliable, and of the highest quality before they reach the customer.


    Key Responsibilities:

    • Assist in the inspection and testing of automotive parts and components to ensure they meet design specifications and quality standards.
    • Perform routine checks, including visual inspections, dimensional checks, and functional testing, using measurement tools and equipment.
    • Analyze inspection data and prepare reports to identify trends, issues, and areas for improvement.
    • Support the investigation and resolution of quality issues, including root cause analysis.
    • Work closely with manufacturing teams to monitor production processes and ensure compliance with quality standards.
    • Review engineering drawings, specifications, and production processes to ensure product quality.
    • Assist in preparing documentation for quality audits and certifications (ISO, IATF, etc.).
    • Participate in the development and implementation of corrective actions when necessary to improve product quality.
    • Ensure all testing procedures and protocols are followed in accordance with company standards.
    • Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to process optimization efforts.
    • Collaborate with other departments such as production, R&D, and logistics to maintain quality across the supply chain.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
    • Basic knowledge of automotive manufacturing processes and quality standards.
    • Familiarity with quality tools such as Six Sigma, FMEA, SPC, and MSA.
    • Knowledge of automotive standards (ISO 9001, IATF 16949) is a plus.
    • Strong attention to detail with good analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to use measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
    • Basic understanding of computer software (MS Office, CAD software is a plus).
    • Good communication and teamwork skills.
    • Eagerness to learn and grow in the field of automotive quality control.

    Preferred Skills:

    • Internship or previous work experience in automotive quality control or manufacturing.
    • Familiarity with automotive testing equipment and software.
    • Knowledge of automotive industry standards and regulations.
