    Job Description

    • Analyze project specifications, blueprints, and other documentation to prepare accurate and detailed fire door estimates, understanding all technical aspects.
    • Perform thorough take-offs of materials, hardware, and labor requirements, ensuring precision in calculations for fire-rated door assemblies.
    • Collaborate with project managers, architects, and clients to clarify project scope, address technical questions, and propose value-engineered solutions for fire door installations.
    • Source and evaluate quotes from suppliers and subcontractors, negotiating favorable pricing while maintaining quality standards for fire door components.

    Desired Candidate Profile

    • Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, demonstrating a strong foundation in technical principles.

    • Relevant certifications such as CDT (Construction Documents Technologist) or AHC (Architectural Hardware Consultant), showcasing expertise in construction and hardware.

    • Demonstrates a minimum of 3 years of experience in fire door estimation & Glazing, with a proven track record of successful bid submissions and project wins.

    • Exhibits a deep understanding of fire-rated door systems, including various door types, hardware, and their application in different building types.
