We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Contracts Administrator with a strong background in real estate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for reviewing, negotiating, and drafting a wide range of real estate contracts, ensuring legal compliance and alignment with company objectives. You will play a critical role in supporting real estate transactions, lease agreements, construction contracts, and vendor agreements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze real estate contracts, lease agreements, purchase agreements, construction contracts, and service/vendor agreements.
- Draft new contracts, amendments, and addendums in accordance with legal standards and business needs.
- Negotiate contract terms with internal stakeholders, external parties, vendors, and legal counsel to ensure favorable terms and mitigate risks.
- Collaborate with legal, finance, real estate, and project teams to ensure contract terms are aligned with company policies and goals.
- Track contract lifecycles and ensure key dates, obligations, and deliverables are met.
- Maintain organized records of all contracts and related documents using contract management systems.
- Ensure all contracts comply with applicable laws, regulations, and internal guidelines.
- Identify and escalate legal and commercial risks appropriately.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Law, or related field; legal education preferred.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in contract administration, with a focus on real estate transactions.
- Strong knowledge of real estate legal concepts, leasing, and development agreements.
- Experience in contract negotiation and drafting with attention to detail and risk mitigation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite and contract management software.
Preferred Skills:
- Paralegal certification or JD (not required but advantageous).
- Experience working with real estate developers, property managers, or construction firms.
- Familiarity with local zoning, permitting, and property laws.
